US Aggregates® expands in Terre Haute to support Vigo County’s future

US Aggregates® is proud to announce a meaningful investment in West Central Indiana with the acquisition of sand and gravel assets from McGuire Excavating & Trucking in Terre Haute. McGuire Excavating & Trucking will continue operating its excavating and trucking business independently. Those operations were not part of the transaction.

This step strengthens US Aggregates’ ability to responsibly supply essential construction materials that support roads, schools, neighborhoods and economic development throughout the Terre Haute and Vigo County community.

“This investment reflects our disciplined, strategic approach to growth,” said US Aggregates President Caleb Brown. “By expanding our local footprint, we are better positioned to serve our customers, strengthen partnerships and support the communities where our materials are used every day.”

Supporting Local Infrastructure and Economic Growth

Aggregates play a critical role in nearly every form of infrastructure, from maintaining roads and bridges to supporting housing, utilities and commercial development. With this expanded presence in Terre Haute, US Aggregates can more efficiently supply high-quality materials to projects that enhance mobility, safety and quality of life across Vigo County.

As Terre Haute continues to invest in public infrastructure, neighborhood improvements and long-term development priorities, US Aggregates is committed to being a dependable partner. The company’s focus goes beyond materials supply. It centers on reliability, safety and responsible operations that earn community trust.

A Thoughtful Integration Focused on People and Safety

In the coming weeks, US Aggregates teams will begin integrating the newly acquired operations into company systems and processes. This work will be guided by a strong emphasis on safety, consistency and cultural alignment.

Safety remains non-negotiable at US Aggregates. From employee training to operational practices, the company is committed to creating safe work environments and protecting the communities in which it operates. Integration efforts will prioritize alignment with established safety standards and operating disciplines that ensure long-term success.

People are central to that approach. US Aggregates believes strong operations start with strong teams, clear expectations and shared values. As integration moves forward, the focus will remain on building lasting relationships with employees, customers and community partners.

A Long-Term Commitment to the Wabash Valley

This investment is not a short-term move. It is part of US Aggregates’ broader strategy to grow thoughtfully while remaining deeply rooted in the communities it serves. For decades, US Aggregates has supported Indiana communities by providing essential materials and acting as a responsible neighbor.

In Terre Haute and Vigo County, that commitment will continue through transparency, collaboration and a focus on doing things the right way. Whether supporting local contractors, contributing to infrastructure projects or engaging with community stakeholders, US Aggregates views success as something built together.

As the company looks ahead, this expansion represents momentum rooted in purpose. US Aggregates is proud to support the Terre Haute community and looks forward to building partnerships and infrastructure that serve the region for generations to come.
