Bid-Well supports successful bridge pour for NEI in Manchester, NH
A complex bridge paving project requiring specialist expertise brought NEI back to Bid-Well having already worked together earlier in the same Manchester, New Hampshire project.
After utilizing Bid-Well’s MT2 Series to transport rebar in the early stages of this bridge construction, NEI reached back out at the start of this year with a new problem: how to configure their paver to meet the specific demands of the bridge design.
Bid-Well’s Jason McCann stepped up to the challenge. After NEI sent over their project plans, Jason reviewed them in detail and developed multiple configuration options, working through the best ways to utilize the parts NEI already had on hand to make the pour work. His hands-on approach to problem-solving gave NEI’s crew the flexibility and confidence they needed going into the job.
From start to finish, the project was a true team effort. Close collaboration between Bid-Well’s team and NEI’s crew ensured every detail was worked through before the pour began. The project owner also played an active role, working alongside the teams to resolve crown and pitch considerations.
The project highlights that the team behind Bid-Well’s equipment is just as important as [their] pavers in the field. From reviewing engineering plans to walking customers through configuration options, Bid-Well’s experts go the extra mile to ensure every pour goes smoothly.
